- Processing Method: Matters regarding the use of personal video information for purposes other than its original intent, provision to third parties, destruction, and requests for viewing are recorded and managed. At the end of the retention period, the data is permanently deleted using an irreversible method (printouts are shredded or incinerated).

7. Measures Regarding a Data Subject's Request for Video Information Viewing, etc.
- You can request the operator of the video information processing device to view or confirm the existence of or delete your personal video information at any time. However, this is limited to personal video information of you that has been filmed and personal video information that is clearly necessary for the urgent benefit of the data subject's life, body, or property. Our institution will take the necessary measures without delay when a request to view or confirm the existence of or delete personal video information is made.
8. Measures to Secure the Safety of Video Information
- The video information processed by this institution is safely managed through encryption measures. Furthermore, as an administrative measure for protecting personal video information, our institution grants differentiated access rights to personal information and manages it by recording the creation date of the personal video information, and the purpose of viewing, the viewer, and the viewing date when it is viewed, to prevent its forgery or alteration. In addition, we have installed a locking device for the safe physical storage of personal video information.

Operation and Management Policy of Video Information Processing Devices
- Chungcheong Fire Service Academy (hereinafter referred to as “the Institution”) informs you through this operation and management policy how video information processed by the Institution is being used and managed.
1. Purpose of Installation and Operation of Video Information Processing Devices
- In accordance with Article 25 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Institution installs and operates video information processing devices for the following purposes.
- Installed and operated for prompt decision-making and protection of citizens’ lives and property in response to firefighting, fire investigation, and other firefighting activities as necessary.
- Operated for the purpose of collecting video information of persons and related individuals in case of fire, disaster, or equivalent situations for rescue and emergency activities.

5. Method and Place of Access to Personal Video Information

6. Measures for Requests by Data Subjects for Access to Video Information
- You may request access to or confirmation/deletion of personal video information at any time. However, this is limited to cases where your own personal video information is recorded or when it is urgently required to protect life, body, or property of a data subject. The Institution will take necessary measures without delay upon such requests.
7. Safety Measures for Video Information (Technical, Administrative, and Physical)
- Video information processed by the Institution is safely managed through encryption and other measures. In addition, as an administrative measure for personal information protection, access rights to personal video information are granted differentially. To prevent forgery or alteration, records are kept on creation time, access purpose, access personnel, and access time. Furthermore, for physical safety, video information is stored in secured facilities with locks.
8. Amendments to the Personal Information Processing Policy
- This operation and management policy of video information processing devices was enacted on January 6, 2025. If there are any additions, deletions, or modifications due to changes in laws, policies, or security technologies, the Institution will notify through its website at least 7 days prior to enforcement.
